Poster Designing Contest 2020
on the occasion of the 74th Independence Day

For Independence Day 2020, Pinkishe Foundation has assembled a ‘Poster Designing Contest’ in honour of our ‘Veer Jawan’. Through this initiative, we intend to express our gratitude towards our Brave Indian Soldiers who guard us at the frontier and are the heroes in real terms.

A. Poster Do and Don’ts
1. you may Create Posters through a variety of media, physical (watercolour, pen, and ink, crayon, chalk, markers, etc.) or digital (computer graphics).
2. Selected posters will be put on public display, and should be easy to see or read.
3. Posters created must be entirely your own original artwork, and printed to the required size for submission.
4. Make your poster as creative as possible.
5. SuBmit the designed Posters as an E-Poster using the form below.
6. Copyrighted characters or copyrighted clip art will not be accepted.
7. No posters should include an image or name of government officials or any famous personalities.
8. Participant name or identifying mark must not appear on the Poster;
9. Personal information and contact details must be submitted through the registration form only
10. Any entry found violating any of these rules and regulations will be immediately disqualified from the contest.
B. Posters must include
1. The Title for Poster Designing Contest – ‘Veer Jawan: Sarhaado Ke Rakhwale’
2. The ‘Contest Theme’
3. “Pinkishe Foundation Independence Day Contest 2020” must be incorporated into the design.
C. Poster specifications
1. Size: A3 sheet – 297 x 420 mm / 11.7 x 16.5 inch
2. Layout/Orientation: Landscape ONLY (Posters in portrait orientation will be rejected)
3. File Size: Minimum IMAGE Size: 1 MB,
Maximum IMAGE Size: 25 MB,
Minimum dimensions: 1920(w) X 1080(l)
minimum resolution: 72 pixels/inch
4. File Format (extension): .jpeg or .png

11. Only a properly scanned image will be accepted for physical hand created posters. Photographs taken from side angles, in dim light, having wrinkles or any other visual errors may be rejected

3. “Pinkishe Foundation Independence Day Contest 2020” must be written into the design.
C. Poster specifications

A4 sheet - 210 x 297 mm / 8.3 x 11.7 in
2. Layout/Orientation: Either landscape or portrait
3. File Size:
Minimum dimensions on either side of the poster: 800 px

D. Registration & Submission Procedure
1. Multiple entries per participant are allowed.
2. Interested contestants must register and submit their e-poster for the contest using the form given at the end.
3. Fill in all the credentials required.
4. Winners will be required to furnish document for age proof to claim their prize.
E. dates & timelines
1. Registrations/Submissions start date: 25th July 2020.
2. Last date for Registration/submission : 10th August 2020, till 23:59 hours.
3. Declaration of Result: 15th August 2020.
4. Prizes: Before 15th September 2020.

G. judging PROCEDURE
Category 1- For Critical Acclaim Awards category

Post closure of registration/submission process on 10th Aug.2020, judges will give marks to 10-20% entries selected on the basis of votes received during the contest period.

The scores given by the judges for particular entry will be averaged and then the entries will be ranked basis the average scores attained.
Category 2- For Popular Awards category
-
Post closure of registration/submission process on 10th Aug.2020, entries will be ranked, basis the number of votes received.

Entries with the highest number of votes will be declared winners.
H. important tips
1. You shall promote your Posters by sharing it on all kinds of social media like Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, WhatsApp, and others, between friends and family, to accumulate the maximum number of votes on your post before 23:59 hours on 10th Aug 2020.
2. Participate early - The participants who submit their entries early will be at an advantage as they will get more number of days to get votes on their entries than those who submit their entries later.
3. Entries will also be shared on our FB page (link). You are advised to like the page to receive notifications and check from time to time to find your entry.
I. important NOTES & General rules, terms & conditions
1. Pinkishe reserves the right to accept or reject any entry. No reason will be attributed to the selection or rejection of any entry.
2. In case of any confusion/conflict/controversy, the decision taken by PINKISHE foundation shall be final & binding on all parties.
3. We shall try to inform you after your entry is posted on our website. but that cannot be guaranteed. also, there may be a delay in notifying you. To avoid loss of precious time, you are advised to subscribe to the website to receive notifications and check from time to time to find your entry.
4. You may share our Facebook post too, to receive likes, however, likes received on Facebook post will not be counted. Please note only votes received on your entry on our website will be counted.
5. Pinkishe foundation reserves the right to select one or more exceptional quality entries that might not have received sufficient votes but may still be presented to the judges for scoring/ranking.
6. The decision of the jury will be considered final.
7. Awards will be announced on 15th August and the winning entries will be posted on our FACEBOOK page.
8. Prizes may take up to 1 month after 15th August to be delivered to you unless constrained by any force majeure situation.
9. All submitted entries will automatically become the joint property of Pinkishe foundation. pinkishe foundation shall be free to use them in any way we like - for marketing, promotion, display, or for any other purpose, in as-it-is form or by altering them slightly or significantly, by putting logos of self or partner companies, etc.
10. Any rule, judges, terms or conditions may be changed any time during the course of the contest.
