Padbank Project Sonagachi ( Red light area) Kolkata

A pad donation drive initiated by Pinkishe Foundation was held at Sonagachi (A Red light Area), Kolkata in collaboration with the Rotaract District 3291. Throughout the session the women and girls were advised to maintain menstrual hygiene and use sanitary pads. In this mission free reusable pads were distributed which is cost effective and can be reused. Many sections of the society are deprived of using pads and affording them, hence handing over reusable pads to them was an urgent and necessary need.
