Free Sanitary Pad Donation & Menstrual Literacy Workshop | Delhi

Door to door free reusable sanitary pad distribution drive was held in Samaspur, Jagir, Delhi. The reusable pads were distributed among 40 beneficiaries of which 27 were women and 13 were girls. Our facilitators told them about the correct way of using and washing reusable pads. 19 year newly married girl named Ranjana told our facilitators that she gets rashes every time she uses sanitary pads which are available in the market, the doctor advised her to use reusable cloth pads instead of disposal pads as these are causing allergic reactions to her body. After receiving these reusable parts the beneficiaries were happy and promised to share their feedback on the same.
