Volunteers from the Pinkishe Foundation came together to celebrate the nation's 76th Independence Day with the utmost enthusiasm on August 15, 2022 at Baydon village, Fahapur Haat, Kaliyaganj, Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal.

The hoisting of our National flag signaled the beginning of the event. The drill was begun by the children with unbridled enthusiasm, and they continued by chanting our national anthem. Additionally, a Raksha Bandhan ritual was celebrated, during which the beneficiaries tied Rakhis on their beloved brothers' wrists. Followed by which, Ms. Binati Singha, who was in charge of the event, provided awareness regarding period management and menstrual cleanliness. The workshop covered multiples issues related to menstruation and was expertly conducted. The beneficiaries left the ceremony with a lovely, warm smile.
