Monthly bleeding is natural among women and grown up girls. Absence of proper hygiene during periods can cause hazardous effects on their health.

Sudden announcement of complete lockdown in view of containing Corona Spread resulted in shortage of basic requirements like sanitary napkins for weaker section females.

Pinkishe Foundation (www.pinkishe.org/) came forward to the rescue of these underprivileged women and girls. We organised a free sanitary pad distribution camp under our Padbank Program (https://www.pinkishe.org/padbank) at Link Road Vasti, Pune on 16th April, 2020 under the leadership of our Pune Branch President Neha Gupta Mehta 40 women and girls benefited from this camp. They were very happy to receive free sanitary pads. They blessed us for our service at these difficult times. The drive was organized with due permission of authorities and all social distancing rules of lockdown were followed.

Pinkishe Foundation extends our gratitude to Ms Neha Mehta and all the contributors for their support to the noble cause and wishes everyone a safe and a healthy life.
